Tea and Scones

Here we go again. A second attempt at life online. I did the blog thing once before and quite enjoyed getting my emotions out, not knowing who heard them or how it affected them. I strived for anonymity in the blogosphere. I failed. I developed a bad stalker habit and had to go into hiding. I've been in hiding now for a year and am ready to re-emerge. It's a new year. A new chance.

To recap 2009:

- I celebrated 1-year with a fantastic man

- I moved in with this fantastic man

- I was promoted

- I was fired

- I launched two small businesses

- I was diagnosed with Type-1 Diabetes

- I lost my Papaw

- I extended myself too far emotionally

- I began to focus on those around me

- I learned how to cook

- I learned how to cook as a diabetic

All in all, it was an absolutely amazing year. And one that is, thank god, hours from over. So here I sit with my herbal tea and whole grain scone, anxiously awaiting tonight and the promise of tomorrow.
